Clean Up Australia Day 2011

Namaste,

On Clean Up Australia Day March 6th volunteers from the Australian School of Meditation and Yoga will come together to clean up the Palm Beach Parklands and Currumbin Creek. We hope that you can join us and also spread the word by letting your friends, family and colleagues know.

What a great opportunity to focus on the yogic principle of saucha or cleanliness. Through the wisdom of yoga we can understand that the external influences the internal. In other words, what we do and what our surroundings are like affects our consciousness. Keeping our external environment clean will assist our endeavours to cleanse the mind and heart.

It won’t be all hard work though! Afterwards we’ll enjoy a swim in the estuary and a vegetarian BBQ. What better way to finish a very rewarding morning than having some fun with friends.
