BBQ Yuba Ribs
The secret to these mouth-watering vegetarian BBQ yuba ribs is the BBQ sauce that you use. There are some tasty sauces from the health food store that contain all natural ingredients and come in a variety of exotic flavours.

Ingredients
- 200g dried bean curd sticks
- ½ cup nutritional yeast
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons miso
- 2 tablespoons warm melted butter
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- Water
- 2 cups vegetarian barbeque sauce
Method
- Soak the dried bean curd 4-6 hours or overnight in hot water.
- Drain and cut sticks into 8-12 cm lengths.
- Squeeze out excess water and drain.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Oil a cookie tray.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix next 6 ingredients together to form a smooth paste.
- Toss Yuba sticks in and mix until all sticks are evenly coated.
- Lay side by side one layer thick, on the cookie tray. Bake 25 mins or until the bottoms are brown and crisp.
- Remove from oven and put in mixing bowl with barbeque sauce.
- Toss well.
- Lay out on baking tray again and bake at 180°C for 10-15 mins.
Serves 5-6
