Gold Coast Community Classes

In conjunction with the Gold Coast City Council’s Active and Healthy campaign, we are happy to present many new yoga, relaxation and meditation classes on the Gold Coast. This is your chance to add yoga into your life. All these community classes are free or low cost, so take this opportunity to relax the body and calm the mind.

Please bring a towel or yoga mat to all sessions.

There will be no programs running on public holidays.

Sunday Free Yoga

Free hatha yoga class, meditation, kirtan, introduction to the benefits of a yoga lifestyle and refreshments. Hatha yoga not only keeps you fit and firm, but provides innumerable benefits to the internal systems of the body. A little effort in yoga is repaid almost instantly with greatly increased feelings of well being. With regular practice, you will notice the balance yoga brings to your life. You will feel physically stronger, more flexible and mentally calmer.

When: Every Sunday 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Hatha Yoga at Kirra

There will be no classes on Public Holidays

Come along and enjoy the benefits of yoga, increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, balance hormones, cleanse and flush all the internal systems of the body, calm the mind and reduce stress. Class includes meditation,relaxation and kirtan. This class is suitable for all levels of ability and will benefit the body, mind and soul.

Yoga by the Sea

There will be no classes on Public Holidays

Come along and enjoy the benefits of yoga in this energizing class by the ocean. This class is suitable for all levels of ability and will benefit the body, mind and soul.

When: Every Saturday 8:00 am – 9:00 am. No class in wet weather.
Where: Justin’s Park, The Esplanade, Burleigh Heads

Stretch and Relax/Easy Yoga (1hr)

There will be no classes on Public Holidays.

This class features half an hour of gentle stretching and half an hour of meditation, relaxation and kirtan and makes it very easy to relieve tension in the body and the mind. You will leave feeling alive and with a sense of peace and inner calm.

Mudgeeraba
When: Every Wednesday 9:15 to 10:15am
Where: The Performance Hall, Mudgeeraba Creek State School, cnr Gold Coast Springbrook Rd and Hardys Rd, Mudgeeraba (parking in Hardys Rd)

Deep Peace Meditation

There will be no classes on Public Holidays.

A great class that will help you find respite in a hectic world. A fully guided meditation session with yoga breathing and meditation techniques to relax the body and calm the mind.

Meditation Workshops

In these workshops you’ll discover practical tools for bringing positive and lasting wellbeing into your life, physically, mentally and spiritually. We teach simple breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation techniques. Bookings required. Please call for dates.
